• it’s normal to not feel sexual attraction immediately or feel it on rare occasions

• you can’t evaluate whether or not you’re asexual by just examining if you want to fuck random celebrities

• you don’t have to force yourself into the label of asexuality and suppress feelings of attraction esp if you’re a minor

•  the a-spec doesn’t define your sexuality, WHO you experience attraction to does.

• yes, bisexuality is real and valid and great and not a phase of experimentation people go through in college

• being a bisexual girl doesn’t make you ‘basically straight’, wlw’s love is valid and real and strong

• girl crushes are not a normal heterosexual happenstance! if you deny the idea that you’re Not Straight bc you’re also attracted to boys, you might be bisexual

• questioning boys, it doesn’t make you less “masculine” if you find yourself having crushes on boys it makes you a normal human being

• young lesbians, don’t feel pressured to identify as bisexual or vice versa, lesbophobia and biphobia are very strong and might influence your identity

• if you deny that you might be gay or lesbian bc you have crushes on members of the opposite binary gender remember that that crush doesn’t count if it’s a celebrity/a fictional character

• sometimes identifying with a certain identity(great phrasing, i know) can help you let go of pull towards attraction, like identifying as a lesbian helped me let go of attraction i felt towards men and in hindsight, a lot of that attraction was artificial

• that being said, just because your feelings of attraction might be stronger for one gender or another, bi folks, it doesn’t mean that your bisexuality isn’t real or valid

• define your labels, but don’t let your labels define you

• seriously, gender/sexuality can be fluid, don’t feel you have to stick with your gender/sexuality bc that’s your “set label” for life

• whatever you feel your gender is, feel comfortable in it, don’t be afraid to experiment until you find the identity that suits you best

• love yourself and who you are
